Trip Details

Killbear Provincial Park is a must-visit destination in southern Ontario. Located on a peninsula of the Georgian Bay in the Parry sound district, this large area comprises rocky ridges, sandy beaches, and ancient unique trees such as the windswept pines on the rocky shores. The day starts visiting the through a 800 m lighthouse loop followed by a 3.5 km hike to contemplate the incredible views of the rocky shoreline and the Georgian bay and via the View Point trail. After another short (and optional) trail visitors can relax and enjoy the sandy beaches or rocky shorelines of Killbear Provincial Park. For the duration of our stay at the beach we will have a charcoal grill ready so feel free to bring food to put on the grill (can be put in the cooler in the car).
